一家国际航班降落在重庆机场，舷梯上款款走下了自小在韩国长大的美丽女孩肖丽（李蕴杰 饰），此行她正要前往素有鬼城之称的丰都县，与多年未曾谋面的母亲方敏相会。方敏再嫁在某厂担任经理的罗炎，罗炎此前曾继承了一座老旧的小楼。令肖丽震惊的是，此前这座从未见过的小楼竟然连续多年在她的梦中出现，并且在梦目睹了一起凶杀案。次日，肖丽随母亲游览丰都名胜，她见到一尊小鬼的雕像，结果察觉雕像和梦中被杀死的男子十分相像。闷闷不乐的肖丽和在母亲的诊所担任助手的青年许大川成为朋友，而在这一过程中她仿佛跨过了阴阳两界的界限，与一只屈死之鬼建立了联系……
